Honest food, great host, and I ask for THIRDS each and every time. Great for evenings and late nights eats and drinks with friends or family!

It's all true. Unbelievably true is how good their diner food can be at say 3:30 am on a random weeknight. All the traditional American staples:  Cheeseburgers, dogs, sandwiches and breakfast. Their Mex or rather Tex-Mex is merely okay. I've had the burrito and taco. They are repurposing diner ingredients for Tex-Mex and it isn't awesome. Meh is all I could say. With all the local taquerias(taco joints) nearby it's useless to buy it here. Just buy American diner food favorites and you'll walk away happy.

I posted photos of their updated menu and nightly food specials. I also added a few photos of my meals. What makes it good is that it's prepared fresh at the time of order. Fries dropped into the fryer and prepared before your eyes(no hand cut tho).
It is the quality of the bun, meat and toppings for that double cheeseburger you just ordered up. Or you're feeling lazy and want a fried pizza puff. If it's all that you can do in that moment, it'll be better than what's served at the Nugget down the way. I like the Golden nugget brand, however not a huge fan of this location.

The only negative is the cleanliness. The floors and walls are dirty. Peep them grout lines.. yuuck. Mind you, they went through a quick rehab recently after some sort of fire/damages. One would think they could have hired a janitorial service to do a once-through. A high powered hose and spic and span would do this place justice. (If management is reading this, I know a reasonably priced guy that could make your diner look brand new.)

I can see why this place still stands; good old fashioned food,  nice portions,  friendly service and always open.  This is a true diner

A great,no frills spot. Breakfast all day, but solid selection of other items: dogs, gyros, tacos, burritos, sandwiches and burgers. And grab a drink next door while you wait, or order there and the food will come to you (assuming it's open).

Spot's been here for years, and it'll likely (hopefully) be here for years to come.

This is a quick, easy pit stop. Breakfast is served all day, and the eggs are a perfect over medium. The coffee is your basic diner fuel. Not fancy, but super fast and friendly service.

Stopped in for a couple cheap meals with the hubby while visiting Chicago and was happy with the egg breakfast as well as the juevos rancheros.
